چکیده
A cement-based stabilizer is effective in stabilizing the peat soft ground with extremely high compressibility and low shear strength for road construction. Moreover, stabilized soil occasionally fractured reused embankments, depending on construction site conditions. In such circumstances, subjected to stress history owing stabilization, crushing, reconstitution. this study, evaluate implication engineering, sample was used conduct unconfined compression (UC), mercury intrusion porosimeter (MIP), scanning electron microscope (SEM) tests measure microscopic structural characteristics. Additionally, characteristics of that had undergone “stabilization, reconstitution” were analyzed. The results indicated period from immediately after stabilization treatment crushing reconstitution curing influenced compressive soil. addition, higher than underwent regular stabilization. outcomes study are beneficial sites where it desirable minimize environmental impact by reducing amount added or quality control a good workability solidified required.

This paper describes an experimental investigation into the pore structure of cement mortar using mercury porosimeter. Ordinary Portland cement, manufactured sand, and natural sand were used. The porosity of the manufactured sand mortar is higher than that of natural sand at the same mix proportion; on the contrary, the probable pore size and threshold radius of manufactured sand mortar are fin...
متن کاملPermeability Characteristics of Compacted and Stabilized Clay with Cement, Peat Ash and Silica Sand
The present paper investigates the influence of stabilization with cement, peat ash, and silica sand on permeability coefficient (kv) of compacted clay, using a novel approach to stabilize the clay with peat ash as a supplementary material of cement in the compacted and stabilized soil. In order to assess the mentioned influence, test specimens of both untreated and stabilized soil have been te...
متن کاملCompressive strength of Portland cement pastes and mortars containing Cu-Zn nano-ferrite
This study is concerned with the synthesizing of Cu-Zn nano-ferrite particles in the laboratory applying simple techniques. The morphology of the synthesized nano-particles was analyzed using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), and the minerals were identified using X-ray diffraction (XRD). The nano material was used to replace 1- 4 percent by weight of Portland cement in cement pastes and ...
